I was never really one to swoon over Mel Gibson. I just never really thought he was all that hot. I think I am too young to be of age to be in his fan club anyway – I think most Gibson fans were much older and remember him from films where he was much younger and more attractive. Looking at him in this picture it reminds me of two things 1. Aging is a bitch because even he is starting to look like Elmer Fud and 2. Men that are with women that much younger than themselves look ridiculous. Seriously how old is that chick? He looks like her father for God’s sakes. Note to all men : having a fresh, beautiful young women on your arm only make you look………..OLDER AND IN DENIAL ABOUT YOURSELF NOT younger or more handsome. Put it this way if you stand next to someone that is a size 00 and you are a size 4 you look that much bigger. Stand next to someone that is a size 12 and you are a size 4 you look completely emmaciated. See my point? Based on how he looks in this pic I would have suggested a 75 year old. Furthermore, and even MORE depressing for Braveheart is the fact that she is not THAT much younger than him for the comparison to be dramatic. She is supposedely 39 which makes there a 14 year age difference. It looks more like 34 in the pictures which is really sad. Normally I would feel incredibly bad for the soon to be ex-wife: It must be really painful to watch the person you spent over 28 years of your life with parade around a new girlfriend but in this case I am thinking she is doing just fine. i have a feeling Mrs Gibson is laughing all the way to the bank.

I guess you can look at it this way OR the situation might be reverse. Maybe Mrs. Gibson kicked Braveheart out, found herself another man and now he is broken hearted, depressed and at the bottom of the barrel. It’s hard to imagine after 28 years of marriage to Mel Gibson, that NOW he will decide to separate from her. I dont know, sometimes men are not the ones who foul up a marriage
OMG!? Not his fault! ? His wife is a class act.- through out countless embarassing displays over the past 6 years she has remained silent, protected her children, and did her best to stand by a man that was obviously a complete embarrassment to them all. First he is arrested for drunk driving, than he goes on a rampage spouting anti-semtic comments – displaying himself to be a racist, a drunk and a hateful peice of trash. All that, and then top it off with the fact that he has been photographed in the past two years alone at LEAST two dozen times partynig hard with co-ed HIS DAUGHTER’s age….I think arguing he is the victim here is a tough sell……

Complete embarrassment??? He’s given them the best years of his life – supported them, made multi millions with his own hands, given them the best life can offer and what??? She is the victim for “putting up” with a few issues! Who knows what might have been going on in his life when those things happened? If cameras and paparazzi followed you all day, what kind of dirt would they dig up on your life???? I think judging a person who was married for 26 years is unfair. Most marriages dont even last a year. Obviously, this man was committed to loving his wife and stayed married all those years. We are in no position to judge him as none of us really know the entire TRUE story and you should never a judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes, ladies!
I agree; Mel has been an embarrassment to his family for years — and didn’t he admit as much when he said on Leno that he’d made “a hatchet job” of his marriage? His poor wife asked of him the same thing his present gold digger has: get off the booze, and straighten up your act. He just couldn’t commit to that. He’s also been womanizing for years — which makes Robyn a long-suffering wife who finally had enough when his girlfriend somehow managed to get pregnant. Does one have to be married to someone to recognize that booze and infidelity is bad for a marriage? Get serious! So no, Mel could not have given that family “the best years of his life.” And finally, it was his wife who supported his family while he was a struggling actor. It sure makes it clear why Mel made that remark about the “hatchet job,” doesn’t it?
