Life is truly the most amazing thing. Although we have no idea whether we are having a boy or a girl, it is kicking and alive inside me and I cannot describe how absolutely terrifying that can be.
We went for our regular checkup last Thursday and when the doctor was checking for the heartbeat, the baby kicked so hard that my entire belly shook and push the doctor’s hand away. I have never felt it kick like that before. It was truly the first confirmation that it is really inside me!
Apparently, babies can hear the heart monitor. Although, I have a feeling the kick was more of a shock or startled-like response. Whatever the case, I cannot wait to feel those little hands and feet mapping out my belly in the coming months!
